COPPERMINE SPRING CLEAN-UP DAYS

Saturday, May 12 and Saturday, May 19 at 8:30am

It’s hard to believe that winter has blown by already…but we are grateful it is behind us and we look forward to spending the summer at our favorite swimming pool!  That time is approaching rapidly and we want to be ready for it.  There is much to do for the season opening on Saturday, May 26th, and we are hoping that many of you will invest a few hours of your time to help that happen.

We have two “Clean Up’ days scheduled.  They are Saturday, May 12 and Saturday, May 19.

Similar to last year, volunteers who work two hours will receive $25 off next year's dues, and volunteers who work four hours or more will receive $50 (per family).  We know that everyone is getting their own property in shape, but a small commitment of your time will go far in helping get our beloved Coppermine Swim Club ready for this next season which is fast approaching.

Tasks will include landscaping (mulching, planting, trimming, fertilizing etc. – please bring wheelbarrows, rakes, fertilizer spreader, clippers etc.); Cleaning, sweeping and power-washing (an extra power-washer would be very helpful); Repair and cleaning of the grilles; Painting (paint will be provided); Setup of tables and chairs; and similar jobs.

If you have leaf blowers or power washers to lend, they would be put to good use.

We will start at 8:30am on each of these two Saturdays. We expect to finish each day by 2pm, but don’t feel you have to stay the whole time.  If you are ready, willing, and able to lend a hand, please contact Connie Coriell at 732-718-4168 or drop a note to President@coppermineswimclub.com and let us know if you can help.
